What kind of Baby Swim Diapers are required?

The baby swim diapers should be reusable, and have an elastic band around the waist and legs to insure all fecal matter remains in the diaper if an accident occurs. TWO swim diapers are mandatory, unless you purchase a Happy Nappy DUO swim diaper, then only one is required as it is double lined.  We sell both types of reusable swim diapers in our Pro Shop, depending on size, or you can buy them on Amazon as linked above.

Why are two swim diapers required? A fecal incident creates an unbelievable mess.  We have to shut down the pool and cancel lessons for hours to clean it up and spike the chlorine in the pool to kill any bacteria.  That’s also a lot of parents who wasted their time driving to our facility for their child to only receive half a lesson or none at all.  Worst case scenario, we’re shut down for the rest of the day.  Double diapering doesn’t seem like much bother compared to all of that, right?
