Goggles – Yes or No?

That depends. In general we discourage children from using goggles until we are sure they are comfortable opening their eyes under water and have mastered their safety skills. Allowing a child to become dependent on goggles is risky. If they were to unexpectedly fall into a body of water it is unlikely they would be wearing their goggles. You do not want your child to believe they can’t swim simply because they are not wearing goggles and water gets in their eyes. If they are proficient swimmers, then yes!
